Used Car Reconditioning Service Technician/ Mechanic

Camelback Hyundai KIA is growing and expanding our Service Team and needs to hire skilled Used Car Reconditioning Technicians to inspect, repair, and recondition vehicles to ensure they meet our high quality and safety standards. Responsibilities – Used Car Recon Service Technician:
• Conduct thorough inspections of used vehicles to identify needed repairs and maintenance
• Perform mechanical repairs, including but not limited to brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Complete cosmetic reconditioning, including detailing, paint touch-ups, and interior cleaning
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely vehicle preparation
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards
• Other duties may be assigned according to skill level and certification
Qualifications – Used Car Recon Service Technician:
• Automotive repair experience required
• Dealership experience is a plus but not a must!
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Must be versatile in skills and tasks performed
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.
• Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills
• Valid NCS driver's license required
• High school diploma or GED
