Role Description
We are looking for a creative, professional and self-motivated UX designer to join our Accounting Tribe Domain team (ATD).
You will have the opportunity to work on complex functionality and workflows, creating engaging, coherent and intuitive user experiences with effective and pleasing interfaces through a user-focused approach to design.
In the Accounting Team we believe in and create opportunities to do things differently with our products, as we focus on and embrace user-centric conversations and design, creating the right outcomes to improve our user's lives and their day-to-day activities. A unified user experience is a key component of our business & product vision that will enable happier users, business, and teams.
This role is open to any talented UX/UI designer with relevant experience, not necessarily in investment banking, who wants to learn and contribute within a collaborative environment, working with other disciplines within the team to generate ideas and innovate solutions that create user satisfaction and value for the business.
Your key responsibilities
• Work with users and squads to gain the insight required to design high quality, creative solutions to build impactful user experiences across a suite of applications
• Work in collaboration with the wider team on the design of those user experiences
• Build collaborative relationships with global partners and colleagues, particularly in Product and Development
• Document design concepts and guidelines, build diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes when appropriate
• Create supporting design work and content where necessary, to inform users and colleagues of new UX initiatives and activity
• Contribute to the Deutsche UX Community to promote consistency and learning across business areas
Your skills and experience
• Experience in user-facing discovery, workshop facilitation, focus groups, and design thinking principles
• Background working in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) at scale, preferably in a global banking environment or on complex workflows
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS, REACT, JIRA, and other Agile tools and processes
• Experience with Figma, Material Design, freehand sketching/diagramming, and Microsoft 365 tools
• BA or BS in Design, HCI, Research or STEM field, or related discipline
• Familiarity with both PC and Mac platforms is desirable
Other useful skills / experience
• Knowledge / experience of Feature Mapping and/or Behaviour Driven Development and other Lean-Agile analysis practices
• Knowledge/experience/exposure to Cloud Technology
