UX UI Designer Developer

UI-UX Designer (JD) Description: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer who is eager to continuously engage, can understand the changing environment of the construction and engineering industry as it taps into the digital/virtual world. Has a good understanding of digital technology, their processes and how they add value. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible designing and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences, making deliberate design decisions and translating any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Oversees and contribute to design creation deliverables such as wireframes, page flow diagrams, and design mockups. • Develop Cross-platform web & mobile UI/UX (iOS, Android, etc.). • Evaluate and Measure recently released product features to establish benchmarks and to identify potential areas of improvement. • Producing "pixel perfect" design files. • Staying on top of UX trends and looking for creative ideas and inspiration in any industry. • Provide expert technical solution architecture guidance. • Mentor team members. • Work directly with project team members to imagine, design and develop Innovative solutions. • Works on multiple Digital Innovation projects from initiation to completion. • Communicate with Digital/BIM and Project stakeholders, including IT managers. • Interact with users to understand business processes and gather user requirements comprehensively. • Drafting/reviewing systems specifications, adhering to functional requirements. • Conducting comprehensive systems testing to ensure bug-free programs. • Liaising and communicating the agreed requirements to outsourcers. • Prepare Digital project specific Technical Requirement Specs. • Perform Coding (where required) / Testing / Implementation. • Prepare and/or review Approved Test Plan/ Test Specs Perform Quality Review for Implementations. • Prepare Training Material and conduct User training. • Resolve rollout issues, providing swift resolutions to problems. • Manage the development of the software developed by a software partner. • Resolve Interface issues between the different used Platforms, wsp.com page 4 • Support in ensuring reliability and maintainability of an enterprise software solution. • Explore innovative technologies and evaluate their relevance. • Conceptualize the usage of modern technology and adapt to enhance its product value. • Reporting to the Line Manager in a structured manner. What You'll Need • University degree or Diploma in Computer Science and/or Information Technology and/or Design. • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in UX / UI development. • Creative mindset is a must. • Proven experience (4 years minimum) of using tools such as Photoshop, XD, Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, After Effects, Framer, InVision, UXPin, Quartz. • Ability to create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods. • Ability to present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles. • Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc. • Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript. • Clean-Code oriented. • Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a customer and solution-oriented mindset. • High Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and MS Project). • Proficiency on working in SharePoint environments. • Excellent understanding of Microsoft technologies and how clients can derive value from their Microsoft investment • Good understanding of functional and process design and requirements plus ability to translate business / functional requirements into technical solutions • Knowledge of Modern Web architecture • Proven experience with Agile development methodologies. • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment. • Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks. wsp.com page 5 • Attention to detail and Excellent communication skills with ability to report in a structured manner. • Attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills. • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude. • Passion for enabling others to do more. • Love working in distributed teams. Any of the following will be considered as added value: • Experience in Power Apps or Power Automate Low-Code/No-Code platforms. • Experience in Business Intelligence applications like Power BI. • Proficiency with any Electronic Data Management Systems like ACONEX. • Hands-on experience in software development using any of the following: Python, C#, C++, Java, .NET, JSON, JavaScript frameworks and deployment to Cloud platform/services. • Experience in database systems such as Oracle, NoSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc. • Experience with Azure DevOps. • Hands-on experience in software development using any other programming/coding language (e.g., HTML5, CSS, etc.). • Experience in implementing/managing applications to public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP). • Experience working within a multi-national working environment would be beneficial. • Excellent English communication and presentation skills. • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
