Job Description
• Support the Senior Value Engineer: Assist in gathering and optimizing inputs (DEVEX, CAPEX, OPEX, and energy yield) for project financial models, and provide robust challenges to technically optimize project design and execution.
• Coordinate Business Case Analysis: Work with the Project Leadership team to define scenarios for business case analysis, ensuring alignment with the project’s financial and operational goals.
• Develop and Optimize CAPEX: Lead the development and optimization of CAPEX, including cost estimating, with input from Work Packages and Procurement.
• LCoE Analysis: Conduct and provide Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCoE) analysis to support the optimization of wind farm design, including benchmarking, CAPEX, OPEX, and energy yield.
• Opportunities Register: Implement and maintain a project-specific Opportunities register aimed at improving LCoE, ensuring that all value opportunities are captured and tracked.
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the Technical Project Manager, Commercial Manager, and all relevant Packages to deliver the value engineering scope. Support Procurement in the commercial evaluation and normalization of contract tender proposals.
• Presentations and Reporting: Present project business case updates and value opportunities during internal reviews, specifically to the Offshore Wind Leadership Team.
• Support Development of Tools and Processes: Aid the wider Value Engineering team in developing and maintaining databases, tools, and cost models, contributing to the continuous improvement of value engineering processes
Work Experience
8+ years of technical experience in value engineering within the offshore wind or similar sector, with a minimum of 2 offshore wind or comparable projects developed. Deep technical knowledge of value engineering principles, particularly in LCoE optimization. Proficiency in multi-variable data analysis, with the ability to summarize complex data for senior management. Strong communication skills for coordinating complex inputs from diverse teams, and the ability to explain implications, interfaces, and outputs of the assigned scope. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and deliver results under time pressure.

Strong ability to collaborate within multifunctional teams, ensuring effective delivery of project objectives. Proficient in English (written and verbal). Capabilities in decision-making, planning, and organizing tasks related to assigned scopes. Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present analysis and conclusions clearly to senior management. Proven skills in strategic thinking, workload prioritization, and shaping strategy into actionable plans.
Required Education & Certification
Engineering degree in a relevant discipline. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Professional accreditation (PMP, APM etc)
