Responsibilities
You will serve as the HVACR/Plumbing SME for the VF facilities portfolio
Additionally, this position will perform a variety of general maintenance, operational and office service support tasks for the Workplace Environments team
Perform a wide variety of building and equipment maintenance work on HVAC, refrigeration and plumbing systems, including package units, FPVAV’s, humidifiers, boilers, refrigerated open air coolers, commercial refrigerators and freezers, domestic cold/hot water lines, faucet/fixtures, building automation systems, etc
Installs new or upgraded HVACR/Plumbing systems as required according to diagram specifications and code requirements
Responds to HVACR/Plumbing service or trouble calls, troubleshoots, and provides problem resolution including after hours emergencies
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, city and county agencies with regulatory authority or jurisdiction over any areas or activities of the building under their control
Observes all established safety program practices and assures all facility employees and contractors do the same
Reviews mechanical plans for new installations
Uses hand and power tools
Set up meetings and events – work with employees to set up their meetings and/or special events in the requested layout, including providing additional furniture, set up of podiums and AV equipment (microphones, projectors, projection screens, etc.), and restore the same locations to pre-event conditions
General Maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry): i.e., replace appliance water filters; replace plumbing fixtures, lights and ballasts; patch and touch up paint; reattach flooring and trims, shelving removal and installation, etc
Complete furniture moves, modifications and repairs as requested for team/individual moves or ergonomic adjustments: cubicle work surface adjustments, chair repairs, drawer repairs and realignments, etc
Provides office services such as supply deliveries, printer toner replacement and basic printer maintenance, and break room supply stocking
Complete new hire desk set up and standard employee desk move requests
Assists with company fleet vehicle maintenance as required
Moves objects (example: stoves, refrigerators, coolers, furniture, etc.) weighing up to 100 lbs
Uses equipment and tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, levels, ladders, pallet jacks and handcarts
Cleans work area and equipment such as the maintenance shop, work site, and various hand tools
Works with cleaning fluids, agents, chemicals, and paints using normal, routine, and protective equipment to complete work
Works in small cramped areas while performing facility maintenance/repairs
Occasionally works at elevations greater than ten feet while repairing or maintaining the building and equipment; climbs ladders or steps to reach objects

A day in the life of a Workplace Environments HVACR Specialist at VF looks a little like this. You will serve as the HVACR/Plumbing SME for the VF facilities portfolio. Additionally, this position will perform a variety of general maintenance, operational and office service support tasks for the Workplace Environments team.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
• Years of Related Professional Experience: 6 years or more of related experience within a commercial or corporate campus environment
• Educational/ Position Requirements: High School diploma Required. An Associate’s Degree/Technical Degree from an accredited program focused on HVACR maintenance is preferred.
• NATE certified (or equivalent) and holds a universal EPA 608 certification
• Experience and training with VRF sytems (preferably LG equipment)
• Must have a valid Colorado Driver License in good standing
• Must be able to obtain and maintain OSHA safety certifications
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Self-motivation and proactivity.
• Excellent time-management and general organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to relate well with others even while working at a distance without the benefit of personal contact.
• Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
