Vape Store Sales Associate (Tech-Driven, Compliance-Focused)
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week required
Store Hours: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM, 7 days a week
Location: 6055 Steeles Ave East, Scarborough, ON

This is not a traditional vape shop. We operate a kiosk-based, tech-driven retail system in a highly regulated environment. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, comfort with technology, and strict adherence to rules and procedures.
Weekend availability is mandatory.
Applicants must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed. While you may not be scheduled every weekend shift, open availability on these days is required to be considered.

What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver a confident, professional, and engaging customer experience
Assist customers using our kiosk-based ordering system
Accurately process transactions using POS and kiosks
Perform daily cash counts, till balancing, and audits
Receive, verify, and organize incoming inventory and orders
Maintain accuracy with similar products and SKUs
Verify government-issued ID and strictly enforce age restrictions
Follow all federal, provincial, and municipal vape laws and by-laws
Maintain store cleanliness, including:
Sales floor and counters
Staff-only washroom
Taking out trash and general upkeep
Remain alert to theft, errors, and policy violations
Arrive on time and work scheduled shifts reliably and without reminders
This Role Is a Good Fit If You
Are comfortable using technology, kiosks, and POS systems
Have strong math skills and confidence handling cash
Pay close attention to detail and follow systems consistently
Are confident speaking with customers and enjoy sales
Can enforce rules calmly, even if a customer disagrees
Are punctual, dependable, and looking for at least 20 hours/week
Have open availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
This Role Is NOT a Good Fit If You
Cannot commit to weekend availability
Are looking for fewer than 20 hours per week
Frequently arrive late or miss shifts
Are uncomfortable checking ID or refusing sales
Prefer unstructured or low-accountability work environments
Requirements
Must be 19+ and legally eligible to work in Canada
Retail or vape experience is an asset (training provided)
