VB.Net Developer (WindowsDesktop Applications):
Vertico is an established IT/ITeS company with UK client base. We are currently looking to recruit a team of experienced VB.Net Developers (WindowsDesktop Applications) with strong SQL knowledge to work on various long-term projects.
The ideal candidate would be someone who can work under extreme pressure and complete projects to very tight deadlines.Â
Overview & Responsibilities:
• Products range from troubleshooting existing Windows based applications to developing new complex applications as per the client's needs.
• Candidates will need to work on various projects involving in VB.Net/C# programming and building SQL queries along with SSRS reporting tool.
• Proven ability to drive and deliver projects with excellent problem-solving skills, time management, and independent working ability.
Required Personal Skills:
• The ideal candidate would be someone with excellent oral and written communication, teamwork skills and an ability to interact effectively with different levels of client management.
• A proven record of accomplishment in developing multiple projects using the latest technologies.
• Ability to understand client requirements and achieve excellent results.
Required Technical Skills:
• Proven experience in VB.Net / C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server and SSRS Reports.
• Strong experience with working on windows forms connecting SQL Databases
• Good experience in writing SQL stored procedures and functions, views, queries and optimization techniques
• Good working knowledge of SSRS reports creation
• Collaborating with in-house teams to produce and maintain software design/architecture
• Developing documentation throughout SDLC (software development life cycle)
• Revising, updating, refactoring as well as debugging code
• Improving existing software by incorporating latest industry advancements and upgrades
• Testing and deploying applications, software, and systems
