We are searching for enthusiastic Accounting tutors who:
Strong understanding of VCE Accounting Units 1–4 and ability to explain concepts clearly.
High achievement in VCE Accounting ~40+ study score (preferred)
Confident teaching in small-group classes and providing clear, step-by-step worked examples.
Able to run weekly 1-on-1 check-ins and give actionable feedback on SACs and practice questions.
Reliable, organised, and responsive to students’ questions outside class.

Your Role at Nova Scholars
Teach With Clarity
Break down concepts step-by-step and teach students how to think, not just what to memorise.
Support Each Student Individually
Use weekly 1-on-1s to review their work, go through feedback, set goals, and make sure no one falls behind.
Build Their Confidence
Help students turn “I don’t get this” into “I can do this.” Your encouragement, accountability and explanations matter.
Create a Positive Classroom Environment
Students learn best when they feel comfortable, respected, and understood — you help make that happen.
What You Bring
Academic Strength
Deep understanding in your subject area
Strong VCE results (40+ study score/95+ ATARs preffered ~ or send your latest academic results)
OR university-level knowledge relevant to the subject
Communication Skills
Ability to explain tricky ideas in simple language
Comfort speaking in front of small groups and individually with students/parents
Clear, patient, supportive teaching style
Mindset & Values

Reliable and committed for the full academic year

Approachable, friendly, and organised
Practical Requirements
Weekly availability (around 6–10 hours)
Able to attend our physical location and teach online
Willing to complete Nova Scholars’ training program
