We’re looking for driven and committed VCE Physics Assistant Tutors to join our team at our Glen Waverley, Melbourne CBD and Box Hill campuses.

What You Will Do
Support - You'll act as a secondary tutor during classes (most classes have two tutors), helping address student questions and clarifying concepts while the primary tutor teaches.
Consult - Conduct 1-on-1 video consultations outside of class hours, which students can book at no extra cost.
Assist - Provide ongoing text-based support to answer student questions promptly after class.
Review - Proofread and review learning materials (workbooks, notes, SACs/Exams) to ensure quality and accuracy.
Mentor - Be a mentor for students, telling anecdotal stories of success & failure.
Connect - Build genuine connections with students. You're relatable, making it easy to relate and inspire.
Note: All additional support provided to students outside of scheduled class hours is completely free for students, but you'll be fully compensated for your time and effort!
What You Will Bring
99+ ATAR and 45+ raw study scores in VCE Physics.
First-year university–level knowledge or above in Physics..
Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Energy, empathy, independence, and a proactive mindset.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience (preferred, but not essential).
A full academic year commitment (no long-term travel or overseas exchange trips).
Ability to commit to weekly classes (consistent attendance required).
Willingness to travel to our campuses (Glen Waverley, Box Hill and Melbourne CBD).
Alignment with Contour’s mission (non-compete agreement required).
A genuine passion for helping and motivating students to achieve their potential.
