Fabricator / Welder – Qualified or relevant experience
Amtek is an Australian owned and operated company, we specialise in building customised, engineered vehicle solutions for a range of government and private clients including Ambulance Services, Police, Disability access, Fire and Rescue, retirement & nursing homes, special needs schools and many more.We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to work in our production team in our new facilities in Wangara, WA.New dynamic company building the latest emergency and specialised vehicles. Work is clean in modern facility and involves significant vehicle conversions.Wages negotiable, dependent on skills and abilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
Assist to fabricate a variety of customised solutions for a range of vehicles
Fabrication of Aluminium and Steel
Assisting to assemble a wide range of purpose-built vehicles including assembly and fitting of vehicle accessories such as side steps, seating flooring, handrails, etc
Assist in day-to-day tasks as per Team Leader’s instruction, including general labouring and specific tasks to assist the team and Team Leader
Working to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality workmanship.
Working well independently and part of a team.
The successful candidate will need to be motivated, self-driven, reliable, genuine and committed. You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail.
