Vehicle Mechanic
Hours of work are Monday – Friday
Possible weekend overtime with premium rate
Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
£16 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle mechanic to join our team based in Coventry. This isn’t an ordinary Mechanic position. This position will provide an opportunity to work on some fantastic military vehicles and enhance your mechanical knowledge on the wider spectrum in addition to offering exceptional career advancement opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Inspect vehicle engine.
· Inspect, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical components.
· Pre- and post-overhaul
· Diagnose issues timely and accurately.
· Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems.
· Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts.
· Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Requirements
• Fully qualified Mechanic, through a recognised formal training programme. (NVQ Level 3 at a minimum).
• Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to actively seek solutions to problems.
