Hourly Rate of Pay £15.50 - £18.5+
Days and Hours of Work
Monday - Friday, shift pattern utilised covering operational opening times of workshop:
Monday - Wednesday, 07:30-17:30
Thursday, 07:30-16:30
Friday, 07:30-15:00
To start asap.
There will be a 5% shift allowance paid in addition to advertised salary.
Job Details
To repair and maintain all vehicles in the Council Fleet including LGV, PSV, Specialist equipment, Light Goods and Cars. Work to be undertaken primarily in a purpose built workshop at Macmerry Industrial Estate or elsewhere as required. To assist with items of plant when required.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Any of the following or equivalent:
Time served Craft Operative in appropriate trade.
Time served modern apprenticeship.
Relevant City and Guilds Certificate.
SVQ level 3 and passed skills test.
Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this post.
Current LGV Driving Licence (or willing to achieve within specified timescale).
