We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Painter to join our team at Keilor Collisions Pty Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation: Eliminate imperfections on vehicle panels to create a flawless base.

Sanding Expertise: Use manual and power sanding techniques to prepare surfaces for painting.

Precision Masking: Apply protective tape and paper to shield areas not meant for paint, ensuring clean lines and professional results.

Colour Management: Skilfully match and mix paint colours to achieve the desired shades and select appropriate pre-mixed paints when required.

Layer Application: Apply primers and final coats using spray guns, with careful sanding between layers to guarantee an even finish.

Detail Finishing: Touch up painted surfaces and apply vehicle polish to enhance the overall appearance.

Final Touches: Remove masking materials and complete the process by waxing and polishing the finished paintwork.

Artistic Detailing: Paint signs and artwork on vehicles, contributing to a unique and attractive look.

Protective Treatments: Apply rust-proofing chemicals to safeguard vehicles against corrosion.

Qualifications:

Relevant certifications plus min 2 years' experience.

Ability to operate painting tools and machinery safely and effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Driver's License & Own Transportation.
