The Role:
As a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including routine servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and conducting MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough and accurate MOT tests on a variety of vehicles.
Performing scheduled vehicle servicing and maintenance.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
Replacing faulty parts and components.
Utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of MOT tests and repairs.
Communicating effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle condition and necessary work.
About You:
You are a qualified Vehicle Technician with proven experience.
You hold a valid MOT Tester qualification (preferably Class 4, but others may be considered).
You have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
You are proficient in using a range of garage tools and diagnostic equipment.
You have a good understanding of vehicle mechanics and safety standards.
You are organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy.
You have good communication and interpersonal skills.
A full and valid UK driving license is essential.
