Job Title:

New product (Vendor) Development Engineer

Job Profile:

We are looking for a New Product Development Engineer (Outsourced Manufacturing) responsible to onboard reliable supplier(s) capable of fulfilling current and future requirements and future exigencies, always safeguarding business continuity and optimising procurement cost and efficiencies.

Job Description:
• Developing and managing machining / job work vendors in terms of production, quality, reliability and to ensure availability of materials as per business requirement.
• Should be responsible for identification of new suppliers as per current / future business requirements and exigencies, negotiating and finalizing costing with existing/new vendor.
• Evaluate vendor capability and capacity to machine new parts based on the drawings provided. Ensure delivery of quality product from vendors. Implement corrective measures/drawing alterations if any after discussions with the production department to ensure smooth work flow.
• Process planning for manufacturing a given part according to its drawing & carrying out zero based costing to determine estimated cost of production.
• Ensuring timely booking of vendor invoices based on monthly job work activity carried out. Carrying out sample quality inspection of new development parts & providing necessary feedback to vendors to ensure quality control.

Experience:
• NPD Engineer in machining minimum 3 Years.
• Must be working Closely with Production and develop vendor accordingly.

Qualification:

Diploma in Mechanical / BE / B.Tech in production / Mechanical

Candidate should be experience in casting & forging industry preferable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
