Technical Requirements (what)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12-14 years of experience in vendor management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT vendor management.
• Strong understanding of IT vendor management principles and practices, and experience in managing IT vendors in a large organization.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with experience in managing contracts and SLAs with vendors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues related to vendor performance and compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in managing vendor risk and compliance, and familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Strong budget management skills, with experience in managing vendor budgets and optimizing vendor spend.
• Experience with IT outsourcing, offshoring, and cloud service providers is a plus.
