As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will assist with the day–to-day operations of the venue providing effective management of a dynamic team. As a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert in leading a large and diverse team, you will drive innovative solutions, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure the achievement of departmental goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage leadership and customer service skills in one of our many venues at The Star Gold Coast, including our Signature and Casual Dining restaurants, as well as our variety of Resort & Casino Bars.

A few of your responsibilities:

Maintain a high level of guest focus in all services, ensuring that guest service delivery is effective and efficient

Oversee operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management

Ensure compliance with the Responsible Service of ******* and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act

Assist with the selection, training and development of the team to ensure timely recruitment and career growth opportunities

Assist the Venue Manager to achieve operational and financial targets

What are we looking for:

Food & Beverage leadership experience with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages

A passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and leading operational teams to deliver great guest experiences

Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members

Highly organised, accountable, and eager, with a high attention to detail

Accreditation in Responsible Service of ******* – RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage

Flexibility to work a rotating roster to meet business demands
