Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site Banquet Sales Manager role located in Thane. The Banquet Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales, coordinating events, and overseeing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Prospect and acquire new clients for event bookings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing for event bookings.
• Manage and fill the events calendar.
• Assist with accounts receivable.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field like hospitality, marketing, business, or event management is often preferred.
• Relevant Experience: Prior experience in event planning, sales, or customer service is highly valued.
• Industry Certifications: Certifications in event management or related fields can enhance your qualifications
Skills:
• Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Organizational and Planning Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance and support.
• Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Budget Management: Experience in developing and managing event budgets.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using relevant software, such as CRM systems, event management platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
