Job Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for HVDC Software & Hardware Integrated testing and perform FPT (Functional Performance Test) & DPT (Dynamic Performance Test)
• Should be able read, understand and follow given test definitions & test descriptions
• Execute test cases related to Grid/Station/Pole level control functions as per test descriptions for HVDC converter substation
• Should be able understand the HMI, RTDS, basics of Power system, Power Electronics component and its equipment’s
• Evaluate Test results against Test Acceptance Criteria
• Analyse SER and TFR Records
• Analyse test results screenshots, plots, reports and support documents
• Prepare and submit Test reports in required format.
Work Experience
Qualification, Skills & Experience:
• B.E or BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 3+ years of experience in Design, Testing and Commissioning HVDC Transmission substation,
• ME or MTech in Powers system or Power electronics followed with B.E or BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 2+ years of experience.
• Good knowledge in Power system protection, Electrical equipment hardware and software engineering and testing.
• Good knowledge and exposure in HVDC control and protection systems.
• Should be able to interact with multiple internal, external stake holders and show FAT demo to customers.
• Basic understanding in SIPROTEC product family, HMI tools, RTDS, IEC 61850 would be an added advantage.
• Good communications skill and fluent in English
