We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
Responsible for NetBackup and Appliances, Installation, deployment, configuration, and migrations.
Should be responsible for configuration, management, and maintenance of NetBackup Physical, Virtual and Flex appliances.
Responsible of backup solution administration with Veritas NetBackup +.x and higher, Dell Data Domain operations, and Veritas Flex appliances
Perform regular Data Recovery Tests and Disaster Recovery procedures.
Plan and perform regular maintenance tasks such as software version upgrades, firmware updates, migrations and hardware diagnostics of NetBackup appliances and other Backup Infrastructure.
Migration and evergreening of existing and old NetBackup Appliances (physical, Virtual and Flex) to latest versions and models.
Maintain Backup Infrastructure to mitigate security vulnerabilities and meet organizational standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Responsible Strong technical background in Veritas NetBackup and related infrastructure
Provide Tier 3 NetBackup support via a ticketing system including restores, troubleshooting and assisting server and database administrators. Maintain backup policies and standards
Storage & various OS level inter dependency issues administration skillset are required.
Experience working as part of Agile Team. Incident and Change Management.
Understand procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance, and data protection.
