We are a progressive and busy hospital, growing by word of mouth with a large team comprising of Veterinarians, Nurses, Animal Attendants and Administrative Staff.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for our next star Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis (we can be flexible for the right person!). As a Vet Nurse with Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital, you are actively involved in supporting our Vets with patient care and consults, and with shifts rotating between surgery, hospital, consults and reception – no two days are the same!
To be successful for this position, you will have:
A Cert IV Vet Nursing is preferred (but not essential!).
Previous experience as a Vet Nurse.
An empathetic, caring nurse that always advocates for their patients.
Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients.
An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice.
