Veterinary Receptionist
The Australian Animal Protection Society is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, veterinary receptionist to fill position at our not-for-profit, no-kill shelter in Keysborough.
Due to ongoing growth we are currently looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist.
You will be comfortable in a fast paced and busy clinic, assisting both shelter enquires and outpatients.
The position is part time but with the option of 8 or 10 hour days.
This new member of staff will know how important a functioning cohesive front of house team play in a successful practice and would suit someone with a Reception/Client Service/Admin career wanting to work where the action is.

Duties Include but are not limited to:
Greeting and managing clients and patients.
Answering extremely busy phone lines.
Scheduling appointments for multiple veterinarians.
Client and patient data management.
Dealing with high volume of emails.
Bank reconciliations.
Processing pet insurance claims/pathology results.
Providing administrative support to veterinarians and management.
Cleaning of reception areas.
Helping clients with OTC products.
Stock deliveries and unpacking
