Job Description
Our ICU technicians are tasked with caring for our more critically ill patients and/or those requiring a high intensity of care. You must demonstrate a mastery of most technical skills, including simple surgical assisting and anesthetic monitoring. Although your primary role is facilitating patient care under the direction of the veterinarian and/or patient care supervisor, you will also be expected to take on more leadership responsibilities including training and mentoring junior team members.

Position Requirements:
Provide a high level of nursing care to patients under the direction of the veterinarian.
Perform technical skills as required.
Provide support to the supervisor as needed.
Assist in the training and mentoring of all assistants and junior technicians.
Perform hospital sanitation and maintain treatment stock as needed.
Participate in continuing education and actively work to increase skill set.
Actively participate in generating solutions for problems or challenges in the department.
Other duties as assigned.
