Job Title - Taxation Asst. Manager
Location - Mumbai (Andheri - Marol)
Experience - 7 to 8 years
Salary - 8 to 10 LPA
Education Qualification – Master’s with Finance Background
Industry - Freight Forwarding | Logistics | International Shipping
What is your role
Experienced in managing GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliation, and audits.
Ensures adherence to tax regulations and collaborates with internal teams for accurate
reporting. Advises on tax law changes, handles audits, and supports tax planning and staff
training.
Job responsibilities:
1.Prepare GSTR1 data for filing.
2.Prepare and file GST returns and other tax compliance documents accurately and on time,
including GSTR1, GSTR2B, and GSTR2A reconciliation.
3.Conduct GST audits and work on amendments for incorrectly processed invoices.
4.Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST, income tax,
and any other relevant taxes.
5.Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial records to ensure tax accuracy and
compliance.
6.Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and financial statements, including deferred tax
calculations.
7.Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts and
required actions.
8.Respond to tax queries and manage communication with tax authorities during audits and
assessments.
9.Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
with internal policies.
10.Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
11.Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
12.Provide training and support to staff on GST and tax-related matters.

• Should be fluent in English, Hindi & Marathi.
• A smiling face, a healthy mind and body, and a positive attitude are a must.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
