Overview of the Vice President, Role:
• A multifaceted role requiring the individual to provide leadership, direction, and integration of business development services to fulfill organizational targets
• Reporting to the senior management (Directors and Managing Directors)
• Amongst the top 10% of the senior professionals at the firm
Responsibilities Assumed:
Product and Stakeholder Management
• Communicating new service developments to prospective clients
• Working with Sales to generate sales leads and achieve the required budgets in a year
• Pitching services to new clients and maintaining a cordial work relationship
• Planning overseas travel for pitching to the clients
• Working in the capacity of the Relationship Manager to the clients
• Identifying the appropriate work product per clients requirements
• Informing and creating awareness about the new offerings on products and services to the clients
• Developing and maintaining a network of contacts within and outside the company
• Running competitor analysis and understanding their worktype
Operational and Workforce Strategy :
• Building Capacity model, Margin model, etc. with the Professional Development team
• Working with the database team to identify and procure the correct Databases to help the business grow and reduce the time spent on research
• Identifying automation strategies to increase execution efficiency
• Focusing on increasing margin per FTE by creating a location strategy, i.e., reviewing office locations for optimum cost
• Strategizing hiring synergies with Talent Acquisition team to ensure the right talent is available in the location
• Longterm assertive target planning and formulating strategies to achieve the same
Leadership and Managerial :
• Devising new hire AVP training, guiding and mentoring the AVP into his role and up to the speed
• Providing on the job and other soft skill training to the AVP
• Creating processes for the efficient functioning of the team
• Preemptive in analysing internal processes and workflow to foresee potential issues and providing solutions
Prerequisites:
• Preferred experience on various CRM platforms such as DealCloud, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Insightly, Pipedrive, Zoho, Dynamo, Hubspot etc
• Firm grasp of various aspects of presales and business development processes and an analytical ability
• Prior experience in the financial services industry with a strong orientation towards business development services
• Commitment and ownership
• Strong eye for detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Candidate Experience:
• An MBA in Marketing/Finance/Strategy with a minimum of 10 years of work experience, or 10 to 15 years of work experience with a bachelors degree in Marketing/Finance/Strategy
Education:
Any Graduate. MBA in Finance/Marketing/Strategy Preferred
Compensation:
The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
