Job description
About Client: A Growing Indian Private Sector Bank
Requirement: The Training should equip participants to conduct credit risk analysis using a structured and standardised approach. It should cover relevant and practical topics like Credit Risk Assessment, Working Capital Assessment and Financial Statement Analysis.
– Participants are experienced in credit risk and not freshers and are adept at financial analysis and balance sheet analysis. TA may include SME, MSME, SCF, Ex-Co members.
– Team will be RMs and Credit Risk person; they jointly approach a client and need the same understanding.
– Educational qualification is CA or equivalent.
– Primary focus on conventional BS, PL, CC analysis. Surrogate methods should be just around 60 minutes discussion.
– For ongoing credit risk evaluation, the participants will identify early warning signals to ensure that a quality portfolio is built.
– Ticket size is Rs. 5 crore to Rs. 20 Crore, with sweet spot at Rs. 15 crores. Company Turnover approx. Rs. 50 crore.
– No specific industry groups. Some negative list items exist e.g. gems and jewellery
Qualification:
1. Should have had at least 15 years of experience as a credit risk function with experience in training credit underwriters as well as credit sales persons.
2. The professional should have been a practitioner working with a private sector bank, handling mid-level credit underwriting.
3. Trainers with professional certifications relevant to the function will be welcome.
4. Prior experience in documentation, good communication skills and an attention to detail.
5. The domain expert should be adept at Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel as the submissions will be required in soft copy as per template shared.
6. Good quality English.

• Managing banking relationships with our major Bankers. Regular meetings and relationship management with banking partners
• Governance over banking arrangements including Daily liquidity / balance monitoring, Fund transfers, bank reconciliations etc.
• Manual Payments, TT’s
• Maintain knowledge of M&G Group operational banking and processes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ownership and oversight of the Investor dealing models in place for OEIC and SICAV Funds
• Adherence to CASS rules through all aspects of the teams activities
• Relationship development across Finance and the wider business
• Oversight of third party providers and change oversight
• Ownership of the Bank Account Database.
• Leading banking related projects
• Own and manage the entire end-to-end invoice processing activity and development to meet the needs of a growing organisation
• Query management relating to supplier payments and staff expenses
• Control over supplier bank accounts
• Credit card oversight and reconciliation
• Responsible for oversight and control over the AP process to ensure timely and accurate processing and compliance with applicable policies
• Responsible for anticipating impacts to the AP team from any changes in the business, regulations or systems, and working proactively with relevant teams to address the same.
• Investment cost oversight and reconciliation of investment expenses
• To help facilitate necessary improvements and developments to support continuous change or enhancements required to improve efficiency and controls, and reduce risk
• Develop the vision for a high performing, efficient and resilient team and inspire the team to perform to high standards and high engagement
• Ensure robust and up-to-date documentation of processes, key controls and testing of those controls
• Create a culture of continuous improvement, streamline and automate manual, repetitive processes
• Ensure the company’s people policies are implemented within the team
• Ensure the company’s performance management policies and processes are followed within the team
• Manage operations within the budgeted costs
• Ensure systems are in place to provide timely and reliable MI for all areas of responsibility
• Provide inspiring leadership to the teams reporting into the role, set objectives and manage performance and career aspirations
• Ensure understanding and adherence to the Group’s Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements
