You will be part of the Reference Data Governance team responsible for leading the quality assurance stream for reference data KPIs in relation to the adoptions activity across the organization. You will appropriately challenge and review stakeholder inputs and present to relevant senior governance forums your observations and deliverables. The role has significant growth potential with specific regard to the strategic book of work outlined by the Group Data Office.

Your key responsibilities :
· Quality assurance governance lead for reference data responsible for defining and embedding the quality assurance framework in the second line of defense, to include validation of divisional inputs and raising relevant observations to the wider stakeholder group.
· Quality assurance of the Reference Data adoptions challenging the evidence provided in satisfaction of the reporting requirements.
· Ensuring that the evidence collated is appropriately agreed with senior stakeholder and any control gaps tracked.
· Defining the maturity of reference data adoption, and embedding the efficient monitoring across the stakeholder group. Challenging the calculation methodologies, target definitions, and the stakeholder input provided.
· Advocating the strategic adoption of a more robust reference data governance framework across the group and demonstrating the benefits and business outcomes in various forums.
· Support and drive forward the wider Group Chief Data Officer (CDO) agenda through advocating and implementing policies, frameworks and standards, providing potential areas of additional responsibility for the role holder.
Your skills and experience:
· Self-starter, independent working style with an ability to build strong relationships across the stakeholder network
· Not afraid to work with a senior stakeholder group, and provide challenge where appropriate.
· Driving thought leadership in the context of best practice in data management
· Experience with working on operating model design with specific reference to governance (policies, roles and procedures)
· Confidence in presenting to various audiences, coupled with advanced PowerPoint skills
· Second or third line of defense experience required
· Prince 2 or PMP qualification a must
· Substantial experience working in a highly regulated financial institution
