We're seeking a future team member for the role of Quality Assurance & Testing Analyst to join our BNY Pershingteam. This role is in Chennai, TamilNadu HYBRID.
Description for Internal Candidates
Specialist, Business Planning and Analysis (Corporate Title: Vice President) is responsible for supporting projects that have high executive visibility and impact organizational planning and strategies. The primary focus is to address day-to-day and/or strategic issues related to running the business to allow line professionals/management to stay focused on core business activities.
The professional conducts analyses and reporting in support of company's technology planning, special projects/initiatives and transformation efforts. May serve as a project lead, enlisting support from more junior staff or peers. The individual must be able to work with senior-level executives, operate and make decisions independently.
Experience and Requirements:
Eight to Twelve years of work experience experience in financial servicesand/or Program/Project Managementpreferred
Experience in Business Planning, Transformation and Change Management functions for financial services firms or with management consultants with financial services clients
Education requirement: bachelor's degree. Masters a plus
Professional Program Management and/or Agile certification, a plus
Solid analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills to understand and anticipate the impact and opportunities across multiple critical projects and competing deadlines.
Strong process orientation: skilled at developing processes that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Strong oral, written and strategic communication skills, including the ability to distill complex messages into clear and concise communications.
Able to handle sensitive issues under pressure
Relationship builder and team player can develop partnerships with internal partners and effectively work with various levels of the organization
Strong self-management skills, including the ability to manage time and workload against priorities and objectives strong attention to detail.
Strong results orientation - track record of meeting deadlines and delivering on goals.
Comfortable managing large, disparate data sets
Proactive, can-do attitude and work ethic with ability to think independently and communicate concisely
Strong initiative and follow through
Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to managed large data sets consisting of internal and external data
Experience with Power BI or Tableau or other query tool/visualization tools
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination with Finance, Technology and other key business stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment across the project portfolio, clarity and support of business priorities, proactive escalation on project delivery and/or operational issues and risks
Assist in planning process that informs demand intake to optimize project portfolio funding to support strategic priorities
Timely/proactive engagement of stakeholders and delivery partners on issues, risks and dependencies
Support continuous multi-year technology investment portfolio planning and optimization process with focus on backlog/project pipeline and interdependencies
Continuous prioritization and course correction through regular assessment of priorities and resourcing levels against ongoing delivery quality and emerging funding opportunities and challenges
Assist in the management of the Transformation Oversight Forum, company's apex forum for decision making on technology planning and prioritization
Support the annual planning process, ongoing change management and critical care processes
Partner with planning contacts and initiative sponsors to assist in developing business cases, supporting rationale, resource needs and other interdependencies
Support the communication of the firm's strategic plans including the cascade and communication of corporate priorities.
Gather, organize and review data/metrics analyze and synthesize data and compile into dashboards, reports or presentations. Create new processes to improve efficiencies and enhance deliverables
Develop and deliver both informational and actionable reports, analyses and/or presentations
Contribute to the business planning process efforts of the firm and support the team to enhance business planning processes in the areas of streamlining and enhancing tools and templates
Participates on project teams or may lead projects/initiatives for the function or business unit. Serves as a resource to more junior staff.
