Vice President - Finance
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Superplum's business goals.
- Partner with leadership to shape long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Assess and drive improvements in unit economics and overall profitability.
- Oversee costing structures, including product cost analysis, inventory management, and supply chain finance optimization.
- Lead efforts to minimize operational costs while ensuring quality and efficiency across the cold chain infrastructure.
- Manage cash flow to ensure working capital adequacy, especially in a high-volume, perishable goods environment.
- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including investors.
- Monitor and manage financial risks effectively.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team capable of supporting rapid business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational strategies.
- Act as a business partner to supply chain, operations, and technology teams to drive cost-efficiency and process improvements.
Must Have Requirements:
- Education: CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent advanced degree in finance or accounting.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in senior finance roles, with exposure to operations-heavy businesses such as FMCG, food supply chain, or logistics.
- Deep understanding of inventory management, costing, product pricing, and unit economics in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work with investors and manage fundraising processes.
