Vice President - Finance

Be the Leader of the Finance Team:

Corporate Accountant.

Accounts Receivable.

Accounts Payable.

Purchasing.

Payroll.

Finalize all financial results and reporting monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Present financial results monthly with MD&A analyses, with input from Operations Leaders, for the Executive Team.

Analyze margin performance and performance to budget, by project, monthly.

Ensure effective “internal control” for:

Purchasing/receiving/AP (realizing available discounts).

Accounts receivable (including construction holdbacks).

Corporate credit card activity.

Expense accounts.

Be an effective and contributing member of the Executive Management Team for:

Strategic Planning.

Business Plan development.

Cash-flow projections and optimal uses of cash.

Pro forma modeling for scenario analyses.

Manages external relationships and agreements with:

External audit accounting firm.

Banking representatives.

Insurance providers.

Landlord.

Government representatives and agencies (GST, PST, Tax filing, etc.).

As the Vice President of Finance, you will lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization, reporting directly to the CEO. This role is pivotal in driving business development and enhancing financial processes through effective negotiation and process improvement. You will oversee financial auditing and filing, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial matters. Qualifications

A Chartered Professional Accountant designation for Canada (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA). An MBA is an asset.

Seven to ten years senior-level financial management experience.

Experience with construction related companies is an asset.

A highly professional Team Leadership experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experienced with leading-edge financial management systems and primary business computer software systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
