What You Can Expect
The Engagement Services team specializes in delivering infrastructure projects for LOB aligned application management teams, in tight liaison with its counterparts in other regions for Global projects.
Planning starts with prior year demand management to forecast infrastructure requirements and expansion. Through the delivery cycle requirements become more defined and translated in scope, schedule and budgets which are tightly managed with delivery teams across a wide range of infrastructure service teams. The planning links with the business and application team requirements to meet business expansion or regulatory timelines.
Critical factor for meeting delivery includes planning, scheduling, management reporting, risk management, managing delivery teams and tracking execution, escalation, and closure.
What You Will Do
• Technology programme delivery planning projects, coordinating infrastructure design, server approval and procurement, plus the overall project delivery to go-live
• Role will work within a team of dedicated project managers and engineers to deliver hosting solutions within the technology infrastructure environment, for business aligned technology application teams
• Deliver a wide variety of infrastructure projects including physical servers implementation, virtual server builds, plan and execute data centre migrations, external connectivity including circuits
• Requirements include ability to understand the design/ purpose of each application or infrastructure. Translate business or application requirements into an infrastructure scope of work; define and document scope, develop detailed and management reporting level schedule, and detailed financial planning.
