Job description
VP Legal - Structured Finance(Structuring)
Job Description:
• Providing legal support with a focus on transactions relating to structured lending, capital markets
• Supporting the structured lending business team on structured lending and vanilla lending transactions.
• Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents: Draft, review, and finalize business loan agreements, security documentation, and related legal contracts.
• Ensure that all legal documents are in compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
• Supporting the structured lending legal team with policy/process formulations and developing house templates
• Supporting entity specific transactional and non-transactional agreements and responding to miscellaneous legal/regulatory queries.
Expected skill sets:
• LLB or LLM from a reputed institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the legal domain, particularly in the NBFC sector, with a focus on capital markets
• The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated individual who is able to work on own initiative and as a part of multi- disciplinary and multi- jurisdictional teams with limited supervision.
• The incumbent would be expected to have sound legal knowledge coupled with a keen commercial sense along with the ability to have a solution oriented approach.
• The ideal candidate would be well versed with RBI regulations, Corporate laws, SEBI regulations, merchant bankers, underwriters, takeover, stock broking, debt listing, portfolio managers, etc.
• Some amount of litigation experience would also be a plus but not a constraint.
