• Location: Chicago, IL 500 West Madison St. Suite 1205 Chicago, IL 60661; New York City, NY 28 Liberty Street, 26th Floor, New York NY 10005; Atlanta, GA 3340 Peachtree Road, Tower Place 100 Atlanta GA 30326; Houston, TX or remote location.
• Work Arrangement: This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week.
• The salary range for this role is between $180,000-$338,000.
Your New Role:
• Guide the standardization of underwriting practices across assigned products by defining risk assessment criteria and establishing service quality standards.
• Build and nurture relationships both internally and externally to open doors for new business opportunities.
• Contribute to the formation of the annual business strategy for the portfolio and ensure its successful execution.
• Maintain compliance with underwriting standards and conduct regular evaluations.
• Encourage teamwork and collaboration to identify profit and loss trends and foster business growth.
• Support the development of a business plan for your team that maximizes productivity and performance.
• Act as a subject matter expert to identify challenges and opportunities in your area.
• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to enhance influence and achieve business goals.
• Continue to build your expertise through ongoing learning and professional development.
• Effectively manage team resources to meet business demands.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Experience:
• Hands-on experience in environmental underwriting.
• Active participation in industry events for continuous education and technical growth.
• Experience in regional underwriting or portfolio management.
Compensation Package: This role's salary will be aligned with its complexity, location, and your professional experience. Beyond base salary, you will also be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses based on individual and business performance.
