Our client is a U.S based MNC developing, manufacturing and selling building material and home appliance products.
Title: VP -Supply Chian, International Business
(International business means rest of the world except North America)
Working Location: India/Singapore/Shanghai
BASIC FUNCTION This position is responsible for leading the Supply Chain organization to world class level of Supply Chain performance. The leader will combine end-to-end supply chain experience and business acumen, to bring together manufacturing, integrated business planning, sales & operations planning and logistics to achieve world class delivery, planning, and inventory management.
This individual will act as champion and spokesperson for achieving Supply Chain customer and financial performance. This includes the business groups for China, South Asia, Northeast Asia, EMEA and Latin America.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervisory Relationships:
1. Directly reports to the Group President -International Business, and indirectly to Chief Operations Officer.
2. Oversees the regions of China, South Asia & Northeast Asia, EMEA, Latin America Operations Planning, Logistics, Warranty Administration, Customer Service, and Supply Chain Alignment.
3. Manage a sizable team with direct reports of leaders of Customer Service, Transportation & Logistics and Global IBP DP COE, and dotted line manage SCM leaders of all regions based in various countries.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Vast experience as a supply chain leader combining end-to-end supply chain experience, business acumen, the ability to bring together manufacturing, integrated business planning, sales & operations planning, warehouse & distribution management, logistics and customer service. Plant leadership and/or warehouse management experience in a manufacturing or consumer goods business required. Digitalization and warehouse design experience preferred
