POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Solutions Consulting (VP) is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the success of the pre-sales function, leading a high-performing team of Solution Consultants in North America and Europe, and acting as a key interface between prospects, customers, sales teams, and product development. The VP will ensure that the solutions consulting team effectively communicates the value of our products, aligns technical solutions with business needs, and fosters long-term client relationships.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Leadership & Team Development:
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a global team of Solutions Consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Develop and implement scalable processes to enhance the team's effectiveness in delivering world-class pre-sales support.
• Establish clear performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth of each team member
• Strategic Pre-Sales Leadership:
• Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
• Lead the development of compelling, client-focused RFP-responses, presentations, demos, trials, and proof of concepts (POCs) that highlight the unique value propositions of the Aprimo platform.
• Ensure the solutions consulting function is aligned with the overall business strategy and sales goals.
• Product Advocacy & Technical Expertise:
• Serve as a key advocate for our product offerings, driving deep product understanding within the solutions consulting team and the broader organization.
• Act as a bridge between product management and the market, providing valuable feedback to influence product roadmaps and future enhancements.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a high level of technical expertise.
• Business Acumen & Customer Engagement:
• Engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders to understand their business challenges and craft tailored solutions that address their needs.
• Leverage a deep understanding of the customer's business environment to identify opportunities for our solutions to deliver tangible business value.
• Support the sales team in negotiating and closing complex deals, providing insights that align technical solutions with business outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with marketing, product management, and product development teams to align on go-to-market strategies and ensure the successful launch of new products and features.
• Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation, driving customer satisfaction and long-term success.
• Lead initiatives to continuously improve the tools, processes, and methodologies the solutions consulting team uses.
• Thought Leadership & Market Influence:
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning the organization as a thought leader.
• Author whitepapers, contribute to blogs, and participate in webinars to share insights and best practices with the broader community.
• Additional responsibilities and duties as required

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU’RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales, or a related technical sales role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling global pre-sales or solutions consulting teams.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of SaaS, AI, cloud computing, and digital asset management.
• Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business solutions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with experience engaging with senior executives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, driving change and innovation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods and performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
• Must be able to move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
• Must be able to perform light physical work that includes lifting or moving objects up to 20 lbs. or medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds on occasion

• Must possess the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking levels

• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
