Vice President, Team Lead - Data Engineer, Middle Office Technology
Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Roles & Responsibilities
Expertise in Python, Hadoop, Spark, Hive and big data technology stack
Deep understanding of data modelling in data warehouse and Hadoop based data stores
Experience in data analysis using Jupyter notebook, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn
Experience in developing the data pipeline – Ingestion, Transformation and
Experience in any data analysis / visualization tools – Tableau or Qlikview
Good to have – Java, Spring Boot, Spring is an added advantage.
Good Knowledge and experience on any RDBMS
Good understanding of CI/ CD stack including build/deployment tools like Jenkins, SCM (GIT, Bitbucket), Maven
Requirements
The candidate should have 15 year’s working experience in IT projects
The candidate should have at least 4 year’s working experience in Banking data warehouse, data lake development or regulatory reporting or analytics.
Must be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to work on different projects in a rapidly changing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels with demonstrated ability to influence different stakeholders.
Certifications in relevant skills (e.g. big data etc.) will be an advantage.
