Process
• Lead a team of 20+ covering the delivery of various processes under Inter-co Transfer Pricing and Transfer Pricing documentation.
• Support countries with appropriate and timely accounting, settlement and documentation of inter-company transactions ensuring tax deduction by tax authorities.
• Support and lead various TP projects and automation initiatives from a BAU standpoint.
• Engage with stakeholders for review and timely resolution for country queries and support Transfer Pricing Audit.
• Provide directions to the team to analyse and attend queries on allocations.
• Help the team in identification of inappropriate and in accurate balances impacting the P&L and balance sheet. Discuss P&L write offs and write backs with country finance teams.
• Take responsibility for the quality of work submitted and ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, internal metrics and tax accounting / transfer pricing policies.
• Challenge status co and review/streamline all work processes to ensure efficiency targets are met.
Stakeholder Management
• Act as a point of reference for team members and stake holders.
• Manage relationship calls with stakeholders, take regular feedback, anticipate and understand issues and escalate appropriately for timely resolution.
• Manage strong relationship with support teams (GBS, Country, IT, Operations and Risk) and bring synergies by interacting and integrating with cross functional teams.
People Management
• Maintaining a pleasant workplace environment which is motivating and enables high performance within team.
• Monitoring people performance, providing timely feedback, performing annual and mid-year appraisals (including people development, pipeline/skills monitoring, and training program).
• Manage leaves and attrition, create sufficient backup / cross trainings.
• Minimise dependency on key people by cross training and succession planning.
• Manage career and growth expectations of people.
• Leverage upon knowledge and skills sitting with other teams at same location or similar team sitting across the globe.
• Enable movement of people as and when required to manage resourcing across GFS.
