JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the position:
The role is to market FX & derivative products to corporate clients based in North India. The incumbent will work closely with the corporate banking team to source and increase wallet share for the products. The role reports into Treasury Sales Head.
Job Responsibilities:
• Sales of FX and derivative solutions to corporate clients based in North India.
• Originating & executing FX and derivative transactions with clients
• Active engagement with Business RMs to onboard new clients, identify new opportunities to grow India Treasury business.
• Understand client requirements and structure market suitable FX and derivative solutions to corporate clients based in North India.
• Work closely with Trading team to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with external (RBI, FEDAI, etc.) as well as internal (SMBC HO) guidelines always.
Qualifications & Skills:
• MBA or Chartered Accountant
• The role requires good understanding of structuring & executing FX and Rates derivatives.
• Pricing and sales of FX & derivative products.
• Expertise in execution of FX & derivative products.
Certifications:
- Certified Treasury dealer
- Diploma in Integrated Treasury Management
