Job Description
• We are seeking to hire a seasoned Vicidial administrator/developer to join our team. The Vicidial administrator will be responsible for managing, installing, and maintaining end-to-end our customer's on-premises VOIP solutions.
Responsibilities
• Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the ViciDial system to ensure optimal performance.
• Creating and modifying scripts to customize call routing and manage users.
• Monitoring and analyzing call center performance, including call volumes, wait times, and abandonment rates.
• Managing and maintaining the database, including regular backups and updates.
• Collaborating with other teams, such as IT, network, and security teams, to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Developing and implementing procedures for system maintenance and disaster recovery.
• Generating regular reports on system performance and call center metrics.
• Providing technical support and training to users.
• Staying current with new technologies and industry trends related to call center software and operations.
Skills Required
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the field of VOIP, Asterisk.
• Strong experience with ViciDial, an open-source call center software.
• Strong understanding of telephony protocols such as SIP and Asterisk.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command line interface.
• Strong understanding of database management and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl and PHP.
• Strong experience with call center operations and best practices.
• Strong understanding of voice over IP (VoIP) and call routing.
• Strong experience with IT service delivery and ITIL framework.
• Strong experience with call center metrics and reporting, and ability to analyze data and make data driven decisions.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
