Job Overview:
As a Video Creator, you will be responsible for all aspects of video production, from concept development and scriptwriting to filming and post-production editing. Your role will involve creating compelling video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and pitch creative concepts for video content that aligns with the company’s brand and objectives.
Write scripts or storyboards for video projects, ensuring clarity and coherence in the message and visual storytelling.
Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices to capture high-quality footage. Direct talent and ensure the desired visual and audio quality.
Edit raw footage into polished, professional videos using editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Incorporate graphics, music, and sound effects as needed.
Optimize video content for various platforms, including adjusting formats and resolutions for social media, websites, and email campaigns.
Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that video content supports broader marketing strategies and goals.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Provide regular updates on project status and progress.
Stay updated on the latest video trends, techniques, and technologies. Apply industry best practices to enhance video quality and engagement.
Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve video content.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production. A portfolio showcasing your work is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Knowledge of video production equipment and techniques.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with motion graphics and animation (e.g., After Effects).
• Knowledge of color grading and audio mixing.
• Familiarity with social media video trends and platform-specific requirements.
• Experience in live streaming and video content for digital marketing.
