We have an exciting opportunity for a Video Editing Intern at Totem. If you are a media student or recent graduate who is passionate about creating videos for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok or Snapchat pages, then this is your calling!
Totem Network is Australia’s largest social video network, with a mission to fuel Australian entertainment’s revenue revolution. We work with iconic Entertainment Brands and Social Creators to create maximum value from their video content on social media.
The Role
As a Video Editing Intern, You Will Learn
Workflows and processes of a fast paced, rapidly growing post production team
Best practices for editing videos for social media
How to create a post production set up that allows you to work from home
Work alongside professional editors, content strategists, channel managers
Work with Australia’s best TV and creator content
Your Tasks Will Include
Performing research for process improvements
Attending content and strategy meetings
Assembling or selecting clips
Reviewing content
Creating and reviewing captions
Organising video assets
Editing videos
Requirements
Currently studying (or recently completed studies in) video editing or similar
Have good communication skills and attention to detail
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud edit suite (Premiere Pro) and Google Office (Sheets, Docs) is desirable
This internship is 3 days a week, unpaid for a 12 week period. There is also an opportunity for full-time employment after the internship.
