Full job description
We are looking for a creative and organized Video Editor to join our growing team at Homero. This role primarily involves editing product videos and creatives received from China using AI-based editing tools (training provided), managing video files, and supporting graphic design tasks. You will also assist in maintaining creative documentation and get the opportunity to work on Amazon marketplace content creation. A working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit short-form product videos using AI-based tools (simple, user-friendly tools will be provided).
Organize and store all raw and final edited videos in structured folders.
Regularly update internal trackers/docs to maintain version control and video status.
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, advertisements).
Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and other elements to enhance video quality.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality outputs.
Ensure consistency in visual style, pacing, and storytelling across all video content.
Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring appropriate formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to implement best practices.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of previous work.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus (e.g., After Effects).
Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and post-production workflows.
Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in editing videos for e-commerce, lifestyle, or digital marketing campaigns.
Familiarity with color grading and audio editing techniques.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday - Work from office
Saturday - Work from home
Sunday - Fixed week off
