Key Responsibilities
Concept Development: Work with the team to develop creative video ideas aligned with client goals.
Editing Strategy: Define editing style, pacing, and effects to support the story.
Production Collaboration: Advise on visual elements to enhance production quality.
Media Management: Organize, categorize, and back up footage systematically.
Footage Review: Select optimal clips and create shot lists for efficient editing.
Editing: Assemble rough and final cuts with transitions, graphics, and effects.
Audio Integration: Choose music and sound effects; collaborate on custom audio.
Color & Finishing: Perform color correction and apply feedback for final delivery.
Innovation: Stay current with editing trends and enhance workflow efficiency.
Required Software Proficiency
DaVinci Resolve
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Premiere Pro
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field
3+ years of professional experience in video editing for digital, broadcast, or commercial platforms
Strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing styles and storytelling techniques
Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven creative environments
