Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging videos that enhance our brand’s digital presence and support our academic and promotional content needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into compelling video content for YouTube, Instagram, ads, webinars, and internal use
Collaborate with the content, marketing, and academic teams to conceptualize and execute video projects
Add graphics, animations, subtitles, and transitions to enhance video quality and viewer engagement
Ensure brand consistency in every video
Maintain organized file structures and manage media assets
Optimize videos for various platforms and formats
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio
Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
Basic understanding of audio editing and color correction
Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and storytelling
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of YouTube and social media video standards is a plus
A bachelor's degree in media, communication, or a related field is preferred
Nice to Have:
Experience in educational video editing
Motion graphics or animation skills
Knowledge of SEO for video platforms
