Our vibrant event photography and cinematography team is seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Time Video Editor to join our dynamic office. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in bringing our clients' events to life through captivating and compelling visual storytelling. You will collaborate closely with our photography and cinematography team to ensure that the final product exceeds our clients' expectations.
Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with our clients' vision and brand identity.
Utilize creative editing techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects, to enhance the overall impact of the videos.
Collaborate with the photography and cinematography team to ensure consistency and continuity in the visual storytelling process.
Incorporate client feedback and revisions to deliver final videos that meet or exceed their expectations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in video editing software and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our work.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines.
Maintain organized file management and archival systems to ensure the accessibility and security of project assets.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions to generate innovative ideas for future projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in the events, photography, or cinematography industry.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong understanding of storytelling principles and visual composition.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality while working under tight deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with team members and clients.
Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.
A portfolio demonstrating your proficiency in video editing and your ability to create engaging and impactful content.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in film, media production, or a related field is preferred.
