Job Description
As an experienced video editor, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and trend-based content for various social media platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Editing high-impact videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms in a way that captivates viewers within 3 seconds.
- Bringing creative ideas to the table by suggesting trending audio, viral formats, new concepts, and storytelling styles.
- Demonstrating speed, precision, and creativity in editing, including smooth transitions, color grading, text animations, and sound design.
- Transforming raw event footage, podcasts, and lifestyle clips into highly engaging and share-worthy edits.
- Staying updated on social trends and viral content to generate ideas for trending content.
- Adapting edits based on feedback efficiently while maintaining a creative spark.
- Ensuring consistency in editing style while exploring fresh looks, transitions, and storytelling methods.
- Working collaboratively from the office for brainstorming, shoots, and edits for 4 days a week and remotely for the rest.
- Taking ownership of every video from ideation to execution to final export.
