We are currently seeking a talented Video Editor to join our marketing team and help us produce high-quality promotional videos.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor with 2-3 Years of experience to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to create engaging and informative promotional content. As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our content creators, Art Directors, and marketing team to produce videos for marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with our educational objectives and brand standards.
• Add graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance the overall production value.
• Ensure all videos are visually appealing, engaging, and effectively communicate the intended message.
Content Development:
• Collaborate with content creators and art directors to understand project requirements and create video content that supports marketing team.
• Provide creative input and suggestions to improve the quality and impact of the videos.
• Assist in scriptwriting and storyboarding when necessary.
Technical Proficiency:
• Utilize industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Maintain organized project files and manage digital assets efficiently.
• Ensure all video content meets technical specifications for various platforms and formats.
Quality Control:
• Review and revise video content based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure videos are free of errors and meet our high standards of excellence.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing and educational content creation.
Project Management:
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and production schedules.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and incorporate feedback.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the education or technology sectors.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with educational content creation and e-learning platforms is a plus.
