Become the new team editor for one of the biggest social media channels on the Internet!
Are you a video editing enthusiast who loves spending hours editing videos?
Do you have an eye for viral editing and love following content creators with the best edits for inspiration?
If so, then we have the perfect job for you!
We're looking for an Elite Editor to be responsible for editing our videos across our Youtube (current focus), Facebook, Snapchat, Tiktok and Instagram channels.
About Project Nightfall:
Project Nightfall is a social media movement that started with one important question: What if you could change somebody's life over one nightfall? And that is exactly what our videos do - they inspire, change perspectives and leave an impact. Born out of our success on social media, is also Project Nightfall Philanthropy, our global charity that helps the most deserving causes from all around the world. Working with Project Nightfall means having a job full of purpose, and as the head of social media you will be a part of a world-changing movement.
Our impact is rapidly increasing. There are more than 23 million people following our Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok and Snapchat channels combined. And we’ve had over 12 BILLION views! And after dominating Facebook, our most recent focus is to do the same on Youtube.
Who are you?
• You live and breathe video editing for social media and love reinventing your style with the latest plugins.
• You live and breathe social media and can easily spend hours watching videos online.
• You have an eye for viral content, creators and what’s popping up across all major social media platforms.
• You’re a confident and independent thinker who can express your opinions and ideas. You like to challenge the status quo.
• You’re familiar with terms like retention, share ability, ad breaks and trending.
• You are eager to learn and want to be a part of a top social media team.
• You have an impeccable work ethic, a passion for editing and a sense of humour (This is a must!)
• You have excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
• A great team player

Responsibilities:
• Edit videos and shorts for Project Nightfall and all its channels
• Manipulate and edit videos in a way that is invisible yet grabbing to the audience
• Communicate well with all writers and leaders to take the best brief for edits
• Be a Final Cut PRO
• Have great attention to detail
• Have a good command of the English language, avoiding any spelling mistakes
• Have a sense of identifying the best thumbnails for videos
• Attend all team meetings and adhere to all company wide policies
• Other Editing tasks as needed
