Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video editing software. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that meets the director’s vision and engages the audience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, coherent video content using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Storytelling: Ensure that the video content aligns with the narrative and creative direction provided by the director or project lead.
• Footage Review: Review and organize footage, select the best shots, and make decisions on the sequence and pacing of the video.
• Audio Management: Integrate and synchronize audio, including voiceovers, sound effects, and background music, ensuring clear and balanced sound quality.
• Graphics and Effects: Create and incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects as needed to enhance the visual appeal of the video.
• Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and make necessary adjustments.
• Quality Control: Perform final checks for errors, inconsistencies, and quality issues before delivering the final product.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and delivering high-quality work on time.
Requirements:
• Experience: Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Knowledge of motion graphics and color correction tools is a plus.
