As a Video Editor at Advertize Hub, you will be responsible for creating compelling video content that resonates with our audience. You will work closely with our production team to edit and enhance videos for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, and our website. Your role will involve not only technical editing skills but also a creative eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, splicing, and sequencing clips.
• Create trending reel edits and ensure content is optimized for social media platforms.
• Apply color grading to enhance the visual appeal of videos.
• Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations to add dynamism to the content.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and implement video concepts and storyboards.
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging editing techniques to keep our content fresh and engaging.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong skills in color grading and knowledge of color correction techniques.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation software such as After Effects.
• Knowledge of audio editing and sound design is a plus.
• Ability to create engaging and trending reel edits for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and export settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Experience in a fast-paced media or production environment.
• Understanding of current social media trends and best practices for video content.
